How do bookkeeping and payroll services work exactly?

My bookkeeping and payroll services are tailored to the needs of each client. For instance, if it makes more sense for you to continue doing your own invoicing, we do that and maybe I do your payables, sales tax, payroll, bank reconciliation. Some clients only write a few checks each month, so they continue with their process and I enter everything on the computer after-the-fact. In some cases, you make your bank deposits- so I don’t touch your money or have real access to it- you sign your own checks for instance. So, we work it out so you’re comfortable and have less burden. That’s the goal.

How much is your bookkeeping service?

It’s a monthly charge based on how much time it takes. Some clients are under $100. Some more involved clients might be a few hundred. It’s still usually always cheaper than an employee by the time you pay the wage, the employer taxes, the unemployment taxes, the workman’s comp, and benefits. I’ve learned a few shortcuts and tricks over the last 27 years. I also have degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. You probably can’t afford to pay a true expert employee or a CPA to do this chore. It would be overkill. And you don’t need to. I work for you but I’m not on your payroll.

Can you do bookkeeping and payroll work remotely?

I sure can! I work out of Vero Beach, Florida and can work for any client in Florida or in other states, for instance, I have clients in Pennylvania. I can also come to your place of work locally depending on your own unique needs.

Do you do taxes?

I do not do taxes, which frees me up throughout the whole year to focus on your payroll and bookkeeping. (Unlike CPA’s who are too busy for the first 1/3 of the year.) Having me as your bookkeeper and payroll provider will help you have everything in order for your tax preparer when tax time comes, which will help to lessen that burden as well!

What program do you use for bookkeeping?

Quickbooks is my program of choice – I have been using it for the last 27 years and will use it to help you streamline your business! And using my QB saves you having to buy the software which is now an expensive online program per month from Intuit.

In what areas do you offer bookkeeping and payroll?

I serve local clients on the Treasure Coast and Space Coasts, Florida. (Indian River and Brevard counties) This includes Vero Beach, Melbourne, Sebastian, Stuart, Fort Pierce, Rockledge, and Viera.
